Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait (2006 - 2009)

Yesterday I posted a link from photographer Chris Jordan. Today I am focusing on another set of work that he did. Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait.  Each of these works are very unique in that they appear to be one image then when you click on it the picture it zooms in to reveal the makeup of the image. The one below is based on cigarette smoking and how many people it kills every 6 months. Other images are based on topics like breast augmentation, aluminum cans, and money spent on Iraq war.
